How do I book my event?
You may book your event in person or via phone.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes, we offer payment plans and we are happy to work with you. An initial retainer fee is due at the time of booking and you have the option to pay in full 14 days prior to your event or to set up a monthly payment plan. For specific information, please contact us directly.
Can I take a tour?
Yes! We would love the opportunity to show you the venue and discuss the details of your event. Please call us at 678-900-9948. We typically schedule tours from 11am-7pm during the week, and we can often also accommodate tours on Saturdays and Sundays.
What are the hours of operation?
We operate on an appointment only schedule for tours and meetings.
What is the latest my event can go?
All events must end by 4 AM. Events occurring past midnight will require a security guard at an additional fee.
What is your cancellation policy?
Once you are booked there is no refund of money upon cancellation or rescheduling. If you need to cancel and if your event is more than 90 days away and paid in full, we can issue you a credit which must be activated within 365 days from the day that you made your initial booking.
Why can’t I rent fewer than 3 hours for corporate events, 6 hours for social events and 8 hours for weddings?
It can stressful for both the event host and the vendors to try to complete everything in a shorter time block. This causes your caterer to be rushed, your decorator to feel stressed, it doesn’t allow much time for the setup of personal items, and it adds undue stress.
What is included with each rental?
(up to 17) 60 inch round tables, (4) 6 ft rectangle tables, (5) cocktail tables, Black or ivory table linens, 8 food chafer dishes, and dedicated wifi is included with the basic rental. When you arrive at the start of your event, everything that Gleaming Event Hall provides will be set up, allowing you and your vendors time to set up any additional items. We are happy to remove anything you would like thrown away but ask that you have your tables cleared and guests, décor, food, personal items, etc., removed by the end of your time block.
What does the cleaning fee include?
The cleaning fee is more of a service charge. It covers the convenience of Gleaming Event Hall providing garbage bags, hand towels, and bath tissue. We will also remove the trash and place bags in the dumpster at the end of your event. It does not cover clearing guest or food tables. We can provide servers for an additional charge to provide that service.
Can I bring in outside catering? Bring in from home? Potluck?
You may bring in outside catering. We also have a list of preferred caterers/chefs if needed. You and your guests are welcome to bring in your own food including homemade items if you would like. Please note that Gleaming Event Hall does not provide plates, napkins, flatware, serving utensils or wait staff with the basic rental.
What is your alcohol policy?
If you are planning on serving alcohol at your event, Gleaming Event Hall requires all clients to go through us to book bartending services. A licensed bartender is required to serve and control all alcohol at Gleaming Event Hall. Please contact us for more information. .
What are my décor options? You are welcome to design a custom room layout with our event specialists. Gleaming Event Hall offers additional linens for rent such as specialty table linens, chair ties, and table runners. We also offer full decoration packages.
Can we come in early to decorate?
You are allowed access the venue when your time block starts per your contract. If you know you will be needing extra time to decorate, make sure you include your decorating time in whatever time block you choose. When your time block begins, we will have all of your tables, chairs, and tablecloths set so the room will be ready for you or your vendors to decorate at that time. If additional time is required, it will be charged at the hourly rate.
Do you have any additional charges?
There is a bartender fee if alcohol is being served. This fee depends on the number of guests and number of hours. A fee for security is required for events ending after 12 midnight. There is a $250 service charge. If servers are required the fee is $25 per hour for each server. There is also a $250 – $500 refundable security deposit which covers any overtime charges and/or damages.
